Getting the Goods at Haute City Day

Haute City Day was a success! If you have not been to MidTown Crossing yet, and checked out all wonderful things you can find, you are missing out! Haute City, held over the weekend, brought out the local stores, national brands, and restaurants into Pop-up Shops that highlighted their treasures.
I discovered products and stores that I didn't even know existed and I can't wait to go back and shop! The first stop was Jambu to check out their shoes. Jambu offers footwear that uses only 100% recycled, recyclable and re-usable packaging. The outsoles are made with partially recycled and re-usable compressed rubber and let me just say, these felt comfy!
There are currently 4 styles available (shown below) at Canfield's in Omaha or you can check out various Online Retailers to see other styles offered. This is a shoe I could see myself wearing almost everyday and the style is hip!

Fluff Your Stuff may just be my new favorite concept. For $200 you get 2 designers for 2 hours and they will take the stuff you already have and fluff it up giving you a whole new look! They feel that your space should be about YOU and I agree.  A home is not a home unless it is lived in...
Design consultation and coaching are also offered by Fluff Your Stuff. The group of girls at Haute City were amazingly friendly and I wanted to bring them home with me right then to start fluffing. Before you spend oodles redoing a room, check them out and you just may be surprised at what they can do with what you already have.

A quick jaunt around the corner brought The Afternoon. Unique gifts, artwork, and some of the coolest and cozy chairs I have seen in awhile! The Afternoon first opened in Omaha in 1962 and it saddened me to know that I had been missing out awesome decor.....not any more!

Like The Afternoon Facebook Page for even more fun and uniqueness.
If yoga is your thing, check out Yoga Rocks the Park! On Sunday's at 4 PM, starting May 27th, head over to the Midtown Crossing at Turner Park and enjoy music, yoga, and FUN! There is a $10 suggested donation to take part and a 50% of NET profits are donated to local and national charities.

Like the  Yoga Rocks The Park Omaha Facebook Page for updates each week.

Get your hair did at Sirens in the Old Market and take advantage of some savings! Sirens Deals brings a new deal each month that gives you big savings on everything for hair to massages. The deal is only available to purchase for one day but you will have three months to redeem it. Yay for convenience! There are Monthly Specials as well and those deals are available all month long.

Like the Sirens Facebook Page you can stay up to date on all the deals and more!
All in all I would chalk Haute City Day up to a success. I found new businesses that I want to shop, new restaurants I want to nosh, and a fun place to go and enjoy the day with the family. Oh, and there was some SWAG that we went home with as well. An awesome event doesn't usually send you away empty handed.

Coming soon......the Hauteness of Haute City Night!
