BBQ Country Style Ribs from @Walmart

The fall weather always has me reaching for my crockpot. Yummy meals that fill the home with delicious smells throughout the day. I especially love easy meals like these BBQ Country Style Ribs. With my new found approval of Walmart meats, I also picked these up there.

BBQ Country Style Ribs

  • 1 Package of Country Style Ribs - boneless
  • 2 TBS Brown Sugar
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • 1 TSP Pepper
  • BBQ Sauce

Trim the excess fat off the ribs. (I dislike this part with a passion!) Mix the brown sugar, salt and pepper together. Rub it on the Country Style Ribs. Pour on the BBQ Sauce - I added enough to coat them good and leave a little layer to slow cook in.

Leave the Country Style Ribs in the slow cooker for about 4-6 hours depending how many you are cooking.  When they are tender they are ready to be served up!  Tween girl and the hubby loved them!

I can't wait to try a new recipe with Country Style Ribs - do you have a favorite one you want to share?

  1. I'm not a big ribs fan, but he is... and I've always been too chicken (ha!) to make them... You might have given me enough courage to actually do it one of these days knowing that I can do it in the crockpot!

  2. I'm not a big fan either usually and hadn't cooked this style before. I loved how easy it was and I had the ingredients on hand. I'd have to say that trimming the fat off was the hardest part. :)
