This past weekend I hit up the Omaha Baby Fair by Baby Love Essentials with my mom. I had never heard of this event so I was excited to check it out and see what it offered! The Omaha Baby Fair offered vendors of all sorts. There was cake to sample and it was pretty tasty. I could have stopped by that booth several times! Lots of ideas if you are planning an upcoming baby shower or welcome baby party.
There was a "relaxation area" to kick up your feet after walking around. With lots of swollen feet around it wasn't empty very often. Couches and posh style made me want to take the whole set-up home. Massages were even being offered for all those sore mommy backs!
Oriental Trading had tables set-up with Baby Shower Themes. There were some adorable ones themed for boys, girls and gender neutral.
One of the vendors I was most impressed with was Madaline Jane! The owner hand sews each item and can create something based on a sketch you give her. If you are looking for a unique piece or outfit, I would recommend checking out
Others things that could be found were a Birthing Bootcamp, Infant CPR Classes, a Man Cave for the guys that came along, Belly Photos and Painting and lots more! Overall I found the Omaha Baby Fair to be a lot of fun and informative. My mom saw lots of products she didn't even know existed so it was a lot of fun for her.
If you plan to attend the next Omaha Baby Fair, you may want to get there a little earlier. The line was long to get in but moved along pretty smoothly. We pre-ordered tickets online to save money and showed up a 20 minutes early to hopefully be one of the first 250 pregnant women so I could get a gift bag. We made it in time and the line continued to grow behind us - showing that the event was noticed by lots of expectant mothers.
