10 Places to Take Toddlers in the Omaha Metro

These random warmer temps have me in the mood for Spring. The twins and I are ready to get out of the house and go on fun adventures. I have started gathering a list of all the places I want to take them, that offer toddler friendly activities.

Omaha Children's Museum: Offering lots of exhibits, some that are perfect for toddlers, this is a place the twins and I will be going to a lot. With new family memberships starting under $100, it is well worth the money if you live locally and have two or more children.

Henry Doorly Zoo: We have consistently had a zoo membership for the past few years. It costs less than two trips to the zoo for our family, and we go way more than that. I cant wait for our first zoo picnic of the season and a day visiting with all the animals!

Council Bluffs Public Library and Omaha Public Libraries: The libraries offer various toddler classes that are usually free. I took my older two kids when they were younger and it was always a fun time. Stories, music, crafts, and other kids their age - you can't go wrong.

BounceU and Pump It Up: When the kids need to let out some energy, get your bounce on. BounceU is designed for ages 2 and up and Pump It Up for those over 34 inches. We had Little Man's birthday at BounceU last year and they loved it. I loved the boxing ring.

PE 101: Is somewhere I haven't been, but have been wanting too. I think the twins would love it now that the are mobile and I don't have to play bodyguard because everything is safe.

Lauritzen Gardens: Take a stroll through the Children's Garden and stop and watch the train. Good thing their paths are wide enough for a twin stroller because they would be running all over through the flowers otherwise.

Backyard Playworld: Is like a giant backyard playworld basically. Swing sets, trampolines, basketball hoops, and more. Only difference, it's not in your backyard.

The Pottery Place: They offer Pre-School Story Time and Paint Sessions and friends that have taken their kids have had a really great experience.

Splash Parks, playgrounds, and easy hiking trails also fun places to take toddlers to as well. With new ones popping up all over, there is always an adventure waiting.

What awesome local places have I left of the list for toddlers? Drop a comment and I will add it this list and our list of adventures!
